Terms of Service
The plain-language agreement between you and Dream Boat when you use Server Wings.
Last updated 19 September 2026
01Who we are and what these terms cover
Dream Boat LLC ("Dream Boat", "we", "us") operates Server Wings, the server and WordPress management service at serverwings.com (the "Service"). These terms apply to your use of the Service, including the dashboard, the API, and the agent software you install on your servers.
Server Wings is a Dream Boat product. Dream Boat's general terms at dreamboats.io/terms apply as well; where the two differ, these terms apply to Server Wings.
By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you use the Service for a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
02Your account
You must be at least 18 and give accurate account details. You are responsible for everything done under your account, including by team members you invite and through API tokens you create. Keep your password and tokens confidential, turn on two-factor authentication in your settings, and tell us straight away if you believe your account has been compromised.
Team members you invite can see everything your account can see. Their role limits what they can change, not what they can view. Invite only people you trust with your servers.
03Your servers and the agent
The Service works by installing a small agent on servers you own or rent. You must have the right to install software on, and administer, every server you connect. We install the agent over SSH with credentials you provide; those credentials are used for that installation and are not stored.
The agent runs with administrator (root) privileges on your server, connects outward to our control plane over an encrypted connection, and carries out the actions you request in the dashboard and the automations you enable. It updates itself to keep working with the Service. Uninstalling the agent ends our access to that server.
Your servers remain yours. You are responsible for the hosting account, the data on the server, and for complying with your hosting provider's terms.
04What the Service does on your instruction
Everything the Service does on your servers happens because you asked for it: directly, through a click in the dashboard or an API call, or through an automation you turned on, such as scheduled backups, automatic updates, automatic quarantine of threats, or security hardening. We carry out those instructions as given.
Some actions cannot be undone: deleting files, dropping databases or tables, removing plugins, reinstalling WordPress core, changing DNS records, suspending sites, and restoring a backup over a live site. The dashboard asks you to confirm these, and it is your responsibility to check the target before confirming. Keep backups you have tested before running anything destructive.
We may act without a specific instruction only where it is needed to keep the Service working or to protect it, for example updating the agent or pausing an automation that keeps failing. We do not modify your sites or data on our own initiative.
05Security scanning and cleanup
Security scans, integrity checks and cleanup tools are provided as a best effort. Malware is designed to evade detection and no scanner finds everything; scans can also flag legitimate files. We do not guarantee that a site the Service reports as clean is clean, or that a cleanup removes every trace of a compromise.
Quarantine moves a file out of the web root and can be reversed from the dashboard. Delete cannot. Review what a finding is before deleting it, and prefer quarantine when unsure.
You remain responsible for the security of your sites, including keeping software up to date, using strong credentials, and rotating any credential that may have been exposed.
06Backups, migrations and services you connect
Backups are created on your server and stored where you choose: on the server's own disk, or in a storage account you connect, such as Amazon S3, Google Drive or Dropbox. Retention rules you set decide how long they are kept. A backup is only useful if it restores, so test restores of anything you rely on.
Migrations copy sites from another host into your server using credentials you provide. You must be authorised to move those sites, and the credentials are used only to perform the migration.
When you connect a third-party account, such as Cloudflare, a storage provider or Google, you authorise us to use it on your behalf for the features you enable, under that provider's own terms. You can disconnect it at any time from the dashboard.
07Plans, trial, payment and renewal
New accounts get a free 14-day trial with the features of the Growth plan. Nothing is charged during the trial. When it ends, choose a plan to keep using the dashboard; until you do, the dashboard is locked, the agent takes no action on its own, and your servers and sites keep running.
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis and renew automatically until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details. You authorise us to charge your chosen payment method for the plan you select and for renewals.
Each plan includes limits, such as the number of servers, sites, apps and team seats. The Service will not let you add beyond a limit, and you cannot move to a smaller plan until your account fits within it.
You can cancel at any time from Billing in your settings or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds follow our Refund & Cancellation Policy at serverwings.com/refunds. If we change a plan's price, we will email you at least 30 days before the new price applies to your next renewal.
If a payment fails we will retry it and email you. If it keeps failing, we may lock the dashboard until it is settled.
08Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, send spam, or host or distribute malware, phishing pages or other harmful content;
- connect, scan, or act on servers or websites you do not own or have permission to administer;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, its infrastructure, or other customers' data;
- use the Service's tools, such as the web terminal, file manager or database console, to attack other systems;
- resell or sublicense the Service without a written agreement with us;
- interfere with the Service's operation, including by placing unreasonable load on it.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules. Where practical we will warn you first.
09Your data
You own your servers, sites, databases, backups and everything else you manage through the Service. You give us the limited rights needed to operate the Service for you: to run the actions you request on your servers, to store the results and the account data described in our Privacy Policy, and to keep backups where you direct them.
You are responsible for having the right to use any content, domains or sites you connect, and for your own compliance with the laws that apply to your sites and their visitors.
10Our intellectual property
The Service, including the dashboard, the API, the agent software and our branding, belongs to us or our licensors. While your account is in good standing you have a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service and to run the agent on servers you connect. That right ends with your account. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute the agent or any other part of the Service.
11Availability and support
We work to keep the Service available and will tell you about planned maintenance where we can, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Your servers do not depend on us to stay up: if our control plane is unreachable, your sites keep serving; only the dashboard and the automations pause.
Support is provided by email at the address below and through the support section of the dashboard.
12Ending the agreement
You can close your account at any time by emailing us; cancel any subscription first. Closing your account does not uninstall the agent from your servers. Remove it yourself, or ask us and we will remove it before closing the account.
We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. If we discontinue it, we will give you at least 30 days' notice and a way to export your data where feasible. Backups you stored on your servers or in your own accounts remain yours.
13Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties not expressly stated in these terms, including any warranty that the Service will find or remove every security threat or that a backup will restore.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data, downtime, or damage to servers or sites that results from actions you instructed the Service to carry out. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
14Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes we will notify account holders by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the updated terms.
